Okurayama Observatory/Olympic Museum

Okurayama Observatory and the Sapporo Olympic Museum are great spots to experience the history and appeal of winter sports in Sapporo.
Okurayama Observatory: Okurayama Observatory is a facility attached to the ski jump used during the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics. From the observation deck, you can get a panoramic view of Sapporo city, and the night view is particularly spectacular. In summer, you can take a lift to the top and experience what it's like to be a ski jumper.

Sapporo Olympic Museum: The Sapporo Olympic Museum was built as a memorial museum for the Sapporo Winter Olympics in 1972. Inside the museum, you can learn about the history of the Olympics and the Sapporo Games through photos, videos, and actual equipment used in the games.
Particularly popular is the ski jumping experience using virtual reality (VR). You can experience the immersive sensation of being a skier yourself. Both facilities are close to each other, so we recommend visiting them together. This is an attractive spot for those who are interested in winter sports, as well as those who want to experience the history and culture of Sapporo. There are also lush parks in the surrounding area, where you can enjoy the nature of each season.

Hokkaido Ball Park F Village

Hokkaido Ballpark F Village is a new tourist facility that opened in March 2023. In addition to being able to enjoy the rich nature of Hokkaido, the ballpark is packed with attractions that you won't find at other ballparks, such as restaurants serving sushi and yakiniku, a full range of accommodations, natural hot springs and saunas, glamping, bicycle rentals, and snow activities. It is a popular spot for tourists not only from Hokkaido but from all over Japan.
Feel free to tour the stadium and enjoy the on-site restaurants.
*Only credit cards are accepted for payment within the facility.

Rapidus Construction Site (from the bus window)

Take a look from the bus window at the construction site of a major facility centered around a cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing plant currently under construction in Chitose City.
